Request a Trial Roll
A Trial Roll is a small roll of fabric for real fabrication and light-control testing. It lets you verify colour, coating, texture and roller-tube compatibility in your own workshop before committing to a production order.
How a Trial Roll differs from other samples
Colour Card
A printed or physical card showing colour swatches across a series. Best for initial colour and texture screening at your desk.
Swatch / Cut Sample
A small fabric cut (typically A4 size) for colour matching and material review. Useful for mood boards and client presentations.
Trial Roll
A small roll long enough to mount on a tube, test the coating, verify light control and run through your fabrication process. This is the sample that tells you if the fabric works in production.
Why test a Trial Roll before production
- Verify actual blackout performance or openness factor on your own equipment
- Check coating adhesion, curl behaviour and cutting characteristics
- Confirm colour under your installation lighting conditions
- Test tube compatibility, winding direction and hem/bar attachment
- Show the finished sample to your client for project approval
